(Sharecast News) - 80 Mile said on Monday that drilling had started at its Disko-Nuussuaq nickel-copper-cobalt-PGE project in West Greenland after the rigs were cemented in place and pressure testing completed.
The AIM-traded company said drilling was progressing towards the top of the target zones, with each hole planned to reach up to 1,000 metres subject to geological review.

It said the project contains seven identified magmatic massive sulphide targets, including one measuring 5.9 kilometres by 1.1 kilometres.

80 Mile said historical sampling and mineralised material from the licence area continued to support the potential for a large-scale nickel-copper sulphide discovery.

At 1353 BST, shares in 80 Mile were down 2.91% at 0.79p.
