Workover rig arrives at Synergia's Cambay PSC

(Sharecast News) - Synergia Energy said on Monday that a workover rig has arrived at its Cambay production sharing contract (PSC) area in Gujarat, India, marking the start of planned well operations being led by its joint venture partner Antelopus Selan Energy.
The AIM-traded company said the Aakash XIV 50T workover rig had reached the Cambay C-64 wellsite, where it would be used to install a sucker rod pump once rig-up operations are completed over the next three to four days.

Synergia holds a 50% working interest in the onshore Cambay PSC, which was being developed alongside operator Antelopus Selan Energy, formerly known as Selan Exploration Technology.

At 1207 BST, shares in Synergia Energy were up 8.11% at 0.02p.
